VILLA CICOLINA

Villa Cicolina is a charming hotel, with origins dating back to the early Middle Ages.

This historical dwelling is located a short way from the splendid 16th-century pearl, Montepulciano, and a few kilometres from the most beautiful towns in the province of Siena: Pienza, Cortona, Montefollonico, Monticchiello and Montalcino.

Over the centuries, the families who owned the villa transformed it into their country residence, the frescoes, coats of arms and paintings all bearing witness to them.

The spacious rooms furnished with antique furniture take their names from the panorama that you can enjoy from the windows as well as from some architectural details and the surrounding countryside with his vineyards and cypresses.

All bedrooms of this Relais have en suite bathroom, TV-sat, air conditioning, heating, mini-bar, safe, bathtub with shower, hairdryer.

The Italian garden with its elegance and geometry opens up before the small church, a wonderful piece in the architectural mosaic.

The swimming pool with Jacuzzi is immersed in the olive grove with a view looking over the Tuscan countryside.

Guests can make use of the hut, chimney room and cellar for reading and tasting the famous “Tuscan Red Wines”.

On request is possible to organize special dinners, wine and cheese tasting, cooking classes, massages in loco of different kind, booking service for the near Spas “Terme di Montepulciano” and “Terme Sensoriali” di Chianciano.

Independent residence sleeps 24 composed of the main building (eighteenth century villa) and two annexes in the park.
Accommodation in 5 suites and 3 double bedrooms. The suites have a living room, double bedroom and bathroom with shower and bath; all three double bedrooms have private bathrooms. Inside the park there are three apartments:
Il Noce and il Cipresso sleep 2 with a living room with fireplace and kitchenette, a double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
La Vigna sleeps 4 composed of a living room with fireplace and kitchenette, two double bedrooms with private bathroom with shower.
