Kilometres and kilometres of wild coastline alternating with stretches of sand, picturesque villages overlooking an uncontaminated sea, but also equipped beaches: this is the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, an ideal place for a relaxing holiday and outdoor sports.
For those arriving from the north, the first impact with Calabria is the Riviera dei Cedri, so called because of the many cedar cultivations in the area. Then there is the Costa degli Dei, also known as the Costa Bella due to its proximity to the Aeolian Islands. Finally, the Costa Viola, the southernmost part of the Tyrrhenian coast, where the sea is open and deep.
