The Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park is one of the largest in Italy, with one of the richest biodiversities in Europe. The park area is a rich deposit of geological, environmental, anthropological and cultural heritage.
Nature then represents an extraordinary record container of vegetation with 2364 recorded species, while the woods that cover the mountains, often ancient, are authentic reservoirs of biodiversity and unique ecosystem treasures. High altitudes, where the peaks reach almost three thousand metres, populations with an authentic rhythm of life, extraordinary traditional food.
