This exceptional hotel is located within the Orsini Fortress of Sorano, dating back to the 11th century, and offers rooms with unique design and furnishings and views of the green Etruscan valley. Rooms at Hotel Della Fortezza have original 19th-century furniture and rustic tiled floors. Some have wood-beamed ceilings, others overlook the village of Sorano.
Hotel Della Fortezza is located in the oldest part of this impressive example of medieval military architecture. To reach it you will have to cross the drawbridge over the moat, at the bottom of the internal square. In the morning, a continental buffet breakfast is served , while for other meals the restaurant serves Tuscan specialties and national dishes.

The 3 suites are two triples and one quadruple, each with its own particular character.
One of the two triples will give you a spectacular view of the historic center of Sorano.
Our unique family room can accommodate up to 4 people. Composed of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it offers you all the space you need and a beautiful view of Piazza Cairoli.
Finally the ancient watchtower of the Orsini Fortress: round walls, the great original fireplace of the time that guarantee a unique living experience.
The Superior rooms have a panoramic view over the Etruscan necropolis of San Rocco, the historic village of Sorano or the splendid Piazza Cairoli, the internal courtyard of the Fortress and the museum. All with double bed or the possibility of separate beds, TV, private bathroom with shower, some, the largest, are equipped with an extra bed to become comfortable triple rooms.
