FATTORIA PICCHIO

Fattoria Picchio was built in 1700 by a prominent Florentine family. It was they who planted, just a few meters from their home, a cedar of Lebanon, a centuries-old tree meant to symbolize the strength and longevity of noble family dynasties. This majestic cedar still stands in front of the hills of Montefiesole and today is nearly 280 years old; it is the symbol of the Farm as a testament to its attachment to roots and tradition.
Located atop the hills of Montefiesole, about 20 km from Florence, Fattoria Picchio is situated in the heart of the Chianti Rufina region.
Fattoria Picchio is a magical, intimate, and historic place. It offers a wide variety of cozy and relaxing spaces, capable of hosting both large and small groups: from intimate family events to graduation parties, baby showers, weddings, or corporate events, suitable for all seasons.
Two of our buildings offer room rentals: Casabella, the main building, where the reception, restaurants, and pool are also located, with its elegant, rustic decor and terracotta floors. And Casanova, an annex building located 300 meters away, with its Tuscan “Shabby Chic” design.
In the heart of the estate, among the vineyards and olive trees, there is also a swimming pool and a parking lot equipped with a charging point for electric vehicles

The apartments
Our apartments are located on two estates on the estate: Monterifrassine and Casanova. Each apartment has its own kitchen, giving you the opportunity to experience the Tuscan dolce vita, buying raw materials at the market or our organic and local produce, which is just a short walk from your apartment. All apartments have a fireplace, Wi-Fi connection and access to Casabella's swimming pool.

The Villa
Villa Mugnaio CASA DEL MUGNAIO 170M² 10 people
Casa del Mugnaio is an independent villa dating back to the 1940s, which was carefully restored in 2003 in the Tuscan tradition. Ceramicist Massimo Innocenti painted a fresco on the interior walls, making it a place of unique and singular charm. It was the former residence of the “miller” , but it could just as easily have been called the artists' house. The villa is 100 meters from the Bottega and 150 meters from Casabella.
