CASTELLO DELL'OSCANO

The Castello dell'Oscano is an ancient noble residence immersed in the quiet of a centuries-old park and in the green Umbrian hills, very close to the historical center of Perugia, the Castello dell'Oscano welcomes guests in an atmosphere full of intense charm and incredible charm .
The Catello of XIV century origin acquires its current form in the late nineteenth century, inside it is furnished mostly from original furniture of the period starting from the precious wooden loft with the imposing staircase, up to the precious library with precious books.

Inside, in the beautiful frescoed or finely covered wooden rooms there is a sugestive restaurant with typically regional cuisine.
Here we eat a la carte every evening and banquets are often held.
Wedding receptions in intimate form often take place inside the Castle in one or more adjoining rooms.
Receptions in an enlarged form are welcomed in the rooms of the castle only in winter or in case of rain to consume the famous grand buffet of appetizers, a fantastic swirl of colors and flavors that brightens the view and enhances the taste.

In the beautiful spring and summer days it will be possible to take advantage of the wonderful historical park, recently renovated, where the grand buffet comes alive with open kitchens in an unforgettable atmosphere.

Since 1978 our residence has been dedicated to receptions and gala in general. The 'Sala dei Duelli' used until the mid-900 as 'orangerie' takes its name from the book by Ligaccione Ranieri di Sorbello entitled 'Perugia della bella epoca'. The Hall of Duel has a capacity of 270 seats, is equipped with air conditioning in summer and winter, can be equipped on request diffused sound, fixed screen for video projections and microphones.

The room for the newlyweds or any overnight stays for the most distant guests can be distributed among the different levels of accommodation that distinguish the Castellodell'Oscano.
With little expense you can stay in the nearby Macina dell'Oscano, an old farmhouse where the oil was milled, today renovated with 12 comfortable apartments.
Elegant and comfortable are the 18 Classic rooms in the nearby, eighteenth-century, Villa Ada, all equipped with wifi, mini bar and television.
Luxurious and evocative are the superior, suites and Jr Suite del Castello.
The Castello dell'Oscano has an agricultural company immersed in our property of 252 hectares of land with organic crops and livestock breeding, as well as a park with centuries-old and protected arbor trees.
