Cascina Olmaia is the latest of the historic farmhouses on the estate to open its doors to guests, following a meticulous restoration aimed at preserving and enhancing its most ancient features while equipping it with modern comforts. Set in a highly scenic location, the property offers sweeping views from the Po Valley to the Alps, blending historic charm with contemporary amenities.
Surrounded by greenery, with lush plants and hedges, Cascina Olmaia’s garden features a centuries-old elm tree of remarkable beauty. The estate boasts a large swimming pool, approximately 18 meters in length, with a convenient staircase for easy access. The pool area is furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas, and is cleaned and maintained daily by dedicated staff.
The farmhouse includes two spacious loggias and a converted barn with a vast hall featuring exposed wooden beams and antique bricks, accommodating up to 100 guests. At the end of the hall, there’s a grand brick fireplace that complements the brick flooring. The interiors are designed with premium materials, such as ceramics from Caltagirone for a touch of Sicilian flair and carefully chosen fabrics from Paris, paired with antique or wrought iron furniture. Stone and brick facades and wooden beams create a warm, relaxing ambiance and give the entire farmhouse a unique charm.The eight bedrooms are all bright and offer panoramic views, and the property includes a large hall for yoga or physical activities.
