Lombardy Alps

The Val Brembana is a small mountain world on a human scale waiting to be discovered. Val Trompia, or Valle dell'Oro due to the historical presence of iron deposits, is a splendid valley about 50 kilometres long bordering on Val Camonica. The Valtellina is a treasure trove of unspoilt nature and is characterised by a splendid variety of landscapes, also known for the Bormio Spa and the ski centres of Livigno, Bormio, Aprica and Santa Caterina Valfurva.  The Camonica Valley with an extension of 90 kilometres is one of the most extensive areas in the central Alps. Val Sassina is known as the mountain of Lake Como and has a precious artistic heritage in the many churches scattered throughout its territory.
